Kristin Hapke / tindance is looking for
3-4 dancers (women and men) for upcoming project Bodega. This project is an evening length work combining
dance-theater, video installation, improvisation, and athletic dancing.
We are looking for dancers with strong
performance presence, solid technical foundation, partnering and improvisation
skills. Theater training is a plus!

Kristin Hapke/ tindance has
been produced in New York at Joyce SoHo, Danspace, Ailey Citigroup Theater,
Dumbo Dance Festival, WAX works, and Dance New Amsterdam; in Seattle, WA at On
the Boards and Velocity Mainstage; Philadelphia Fridge Festival, as well as
Portland and Eugene, OR; Washington DC and Columbus, OH. Her quartet, Tracking, was presented at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. nominating her for the
ACDFA /Dance Magazine Award for Outstanding Choreographer. In January 2009, Hapke was commissioned by
Velocity Dance Center’s three-week residency program, the Bridge Project. Recently,
tindance was presented at Joyce SoHo’s Performance Mix Festival. Hapke will be
teaching a solo performance workshop in DAG/MAR series in June and at Velocity
in the summer.
